Notes from W228 is an editorial project that documents the artefacts of the Letterpress Workshop, located in the workshop block of London College of Communication. The index serves as a memoir of the current space, preserving its memory and legacy before the forthcoming demolition of the college building. The object is conceived as part of the room, not merely as one that observes and describes the space from a distance. This has informed decisions on the different details of the book, including form, colour choice and tone of voice.
Copies are available for purchase at Good Press (Glasgow) and Tenderbooks (London), or they can be borrowed and viewed on site at the Special Collections of the London College of Communication Library.
